Kiera O’Toole is a visual artist who studied Fine Art at Dublin Institute of Technology graduating in 2000 and completed a MPhil (Fine Art) in Newcastle University, Australia in 2013. Exhibited in Ireland, Finland and Australia including National Museum of Australia in 2011 and obtained several artists in residencies in Australia and Ireland. Panellist for New Perspectives on Drawing for Bart Lodewijks’ exhibition in The Model, Co. Sligo, Ireland, and presented at the 20th Australasian Conference for Irish Studies in University of NSW, Australia and Not just Ned: the true history of the Irish in Australia at the National Museum of Australia. Public collections in the OPW, Wicklow County Council, Lissadell House Art Collection in Ireland and in the Maitland Regional Gallery and Mercure Hotels in Australia. Private collections are in Ireland, Australia, UK, USA and Germany.
O’Toole has an extensive experience in teaching Drawing /Painting, Art Theory and Art History as a casual academic in Newcastle University, NSW, Australia, TAFE (Training and Further Education), ETB (formerly VEC) and drawing teacher The Model, Co Sligo and The Dock Co Leitrim.
O’Toole is currently developing workshops that explore drawing as a means of communication for TEAM BUILDING.
Rachel Quinn is a designer maker living and working in sligo. Rachel has spent the past 20 years working in ceramics and currently has 3 ranges from a mythological range , a garden range and a range of wall pieces. Rachel has also been teaching ceramics from her studio and in the classroom and is on the education panel of the Design and crafts Council of Ireland .
